So you'd like Blue Door Living to manage your property. But what is our process for beginning management of it?

 

Below is our standard onboarding process, though your particular situation may warrant a slightly different one. We make this transition as effortless as possible for you.

Fill out onboarding forms

First, we will ask you to provide various information about your property so that we can be fully informed when managing it.

Sign management agreement


We will then send you a digital management agreement for you to review and sign electronically.

Complete management transfer tasks and walkthrough

​

We will complete various tasks to begin management of your property, some of which require action on your part. These tasks include collecting the keys from you and delivering welcome notices to your tenants. Our Property Manager and Maintenance Manager will also visit the property to collect information on it and familiarize themselves with it.

Discuss and execute business plan

​

Our Property Manager will meet with you via phone call or video meeting to discuss and determine a business plan for your property. Our team will then kick off all of the relevant property management processes, such as the leasing process for vacant units.

Onboarding complete

​

From here on out, we will send you a monthly owner disbursement and financial reports, and we will initiate contact with you in the case of the "important situations" listed in the management agreement. However, you are welcome to contact us at any time with questions or to ask for updates.
